Our Story

It all started with a forest and a love for the game. We set out in 1983 to offer an exceptional golf experience that intentionally aligns course excellence and concierge-style member service – all amidst a natural woodland setting that is second-to-none. Today, we continue our quest for excellence. 

Our Founders

Burl Aycock remembers the moment well. It was the early 80’s, and there he was, side-by-side on a pair of horses with his long-time friend Stan Carscallen peering through the bush that would eventually serve as the 17th tee box of the Hawk Course. “I was swatting mosquitoes off my face, it was raining a bit, and I looked over at Stan said, ‘nobody is going to come here to golf and we’re going to lose everything” Aycock recalls some 35 years later. “Well, I guess I was wrong”.

Priddis Greens Charity Classic

As one of Calgary’s most prominent charitable events, we are thrilled to host the 23rd annual Priddis Greens Charity Classic in support of the Prostate Cancer Centre. Raising nearly $7 million since its inception, the Charity Classic continues to be the leading source of funding to support prostate health in our city.

Our Community

Not only do we support many local community organizations, sports teams and charity tournaments, but also we are proud to have sponsored three national championships including the 1999 duMaurier Classic and 2009 CN Canadian Women’s Open. Through the support of over 54,000 spectators and 1,200 volunteers, the most recent 2016 CP Women’s Open was a major success raising $2M for the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Furthermore, in support of the Prostate Cancer Centre, the annual Priddis Greens Charity Classic is a signature event on the Calgary charity calendar donating nearly $7 million since its inception in 1999.
