When someone hears the words, "You have cancer," life changes in an instant. The diagnosis is only the beginning of a journey that affects emotional well-being, family, finances, work, and every aspect of daily life. Along the way, many people are left with feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, and overwhelming stress, wondering how they'll navigate everything that comes next. That's where Wellspring Alberta comes in.
Through more than 70 evidence-informed programs and services, Wellspring provides emotional, practical, physical, financial, and social support for people living with cancer, caregivers, and family members. Every program is offered free of charge, with no referral required.
Last year alone, Wellspring Alberta supported more than 3,800 Albertans through nearly 50,000 program visits, helping people reduce distress, improve mental health, build resilience, and feel less alone. Whether someone is newly diagnosed, in treatment, living with advanced cancer, or adjusting to life after cancer, Wellspring is your community for cancer support.
Because no one should have to face cancer alone.
